About Me

Allie is the Owner and Director of BU.  Professionally, she has over 14 years of experience working with children with special needs, Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, and behavioral challenges. Personally, she has worked with children with different needs ever since she was a child. Allie received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Penn State University-WE ARE!  She started her career as a teacher in an ABA classroom then moved on to working as an ABA Team Leader for an Early Intervention company based out of Brooklyn, NY.  Allie then worked as a Behavior Supervisor for a private company located in Bergen County, NJ.  From 2014 until 2021, Allie worked as an ABA Team Leader, Social Skills Coordinator, Autism Clinical Educator, Center BCBA, and the NJ Autism Program Supervisor, overseeing three centers in NJ, for a company providing pediatric services. Allie makes sure that her love for her job shines through with every individual and family that she works with. She makes herself available to the families, schools, and other team members to make sure that a wraparound approach is implemented.  She believes in teaching functional skills and ensuring that all children are applying these skills to everything that they do. Allie strives to ensure that all kids are included with their peers and works on goals that are meaningful to the child and family.
